DELIVERY POLICY


This section covers all topics related to dispatch and delivery of items
such as when you can expect items to be dispatched, how long delivery is expected to take, and an explanation of the delivery options available.


DELIVERY  OPTIONS


We may offer free delivery to selected cities. WHEN advertised, Free (Selected Cities) Delivery means you won't pay a kobo for any orders within that city!

To qualify for Free Delivery your order must be shipped to a delivery address within that City.

WHEN we offer Free Nigeria Delivery, all orders being delivered within Nigeria qualify for Free Nigeria Delivery.


Please Note:

  • When shown, delivery lead times shown are approximate and are not guaranteed.
  • Orders placed before 12pm are usually dispatched the same day unless it is a Bank (Public) Holiday
  • Orders placed after 12pm will be dispatched the next working day.
  • Orders with multiple items may be split into several smaller orders, dispatched and delivered separately based on availability.
  • We DO NOT ship to PO Box addresses.
  • Standard VAT is charged, where applicable, on all orders shipped.


Delivery Costs

The delivery cost of your order depends on the weight, size and location (where you want your order delivered to). Your delivery cost is automatically calculated (based on the above) during checkout and displayed clearly for you to see. There are no hidden costs whatsoever. Once you have completed your checkout our courier will handle your delivery efficiently.

Damaged Items

At the point of delivery our courier will present you with a Proof of Delivery (POD) form. You will be required as part of our delivery protocol to complete and endorse (sign) the form to confirm that you have taken delivery of your order.

We recommend that you check the goods carefully to ensure that it is really the chosen product (s) on the site. Once you receive your order, check the body of the product for any breakages, cracks, scratches or chip-offs. Once the product is delivered, you sign the POD and our delivery team leaves your location, we will not be liable for any damage done to the product (s) thereafter.

In case you receive damaged or defective product (s) or product (s) that does not comply with the specifications as per your original order, please do not sign the POD instead get in touch with us on our customer care numbers 0700AUGUSTWISH or 07038475622 OR Email: help@augustwish.com at your earliest convenience.


Product Availability And Dispatch Times

Availability of a product is based on the following criteria, which is indicated to you at the checkout confirmation stage of a transaction. If a product is not available to purchase or order; the buy button will not allow you to add the item to your shopping basket (Goody Bag).The estimated delivery time is 7 - 14 days starting from the day of order confirmation excluding dispatch time. The day of dispatch will always be communicated to you.


Immediate - This means that the item is in stock in the warehouse and can be dispatched to you right away via your chosen method of delivery. So, for example, Tranex deliveries ought to be made within 1-3 days of placing your order.


Dispatched in 2-3 Working Days - This means that the item will take 2-3 days to leave the warehouse, after which the normal delivery timelines apply. So, for example, Tranex deliveries ought to be made within 4-7 days of placing your order.


Out of Stock - The product is not currently available and we are unable to confirm when/if we will obtain further supplies at the present time.


Preorder- We will ship your preordered item to you prior to release (subject to availability) via your chosen method of shipping. The vast majority of preorders arrive for the day of release. However we cannot guarantee delivery by release date for standard deliveries, because our delivery partner cannot make this guarantee. Choose Special Delivery to ensure it is delivered for the release date.


NB- Please note that all of our orders are subject to authorization checks by our accounts team before being processed. This may therefore delay the dispatch of your order until the next working day.





ORDER STATUS

When you complete an order at AUGUSTWISH.COM, you will be taken to a confirmation screen, which amongst other things presents an Order Number. This can be used to check on the progress of your order up until it is dispatched.

You can also find this number on your My Order in your account. You can navigate here via your Account dashboard under the heading 'My Orders'. This will only work if you were logged into your account when you placed your order.

To find out if your order has been dispatched,check the status of orders.

Where available, our courier partners may provide a tracking number for your order.





ORDERS NOT RECEIVED

Before contacting AW to report a lost order or late delivery, please follow steps 1, 2 and 3 below:

1. Have you checked on the status of your order in your account?

2. Has it been 7 working days, not including Sundays since your order was dispatched? See our Terms and Conditions of sale.
3. Have you contacted your local Office of the Courier to see if they are holding the order, having already tried unsuccessfully to deliver it to you?


In the unlikely event that your order has been lost in transit, we will do our best to replace it as soon as possible (depending upon product availability & applicable policies). Please be aware that you must contact us within 10 days of the dispatch date of your order if it hasn't arrived via the delivery service. Unfortunately claims for lost in transit orders after this time cannot be accepted.

Special Deliveries

Orders shipped via courier require the customer's signature upon delivery and cannot be released by the driver without this. Please ensure that you sign your Proof of Delivery (POD) form upon delivery.





BUY & PICKUP

Buy online, then pick up your item in your local store. This service will ONLY be available in select cities and on select items. We are working to make it more popular as we continue to add more Pickup points.


Why Buy & Pick Up?

Maybe you work or live near our pick up location... Maybe your order is too big and there won't be anyone at home to sign for it... Maybe you want to see what else you can grab while you're there... Maybe picking up the item (s) is more convenient and you simply can’t wait to start enjoying your new purchase…


Which products can I Buy & Pick Up?

Anywhere you see our ' BnP’ batch/logo you can order that product online and pick it up in your local Store/Pickup points (Location near you).


How does Buy & Pick Up work?

Simply add a Buy & Pick Up eligible item to your basket, then go to 'checkout'. On the Delivery page select the Buy & Pick Up option. Complete your order and note down your Delivery Number.

Whichever item you buy, we will send you a text message and/or email when your items are ready for pick up at the store.

Once you get the text message or email, head down to your local (don't forget your Delivery Number and additional ID - we will need to see either a passport, driving license or utility bill) to pick it up.

You've 7 days to pick your item up from your local store/Pickup point.
